Improving domestic and international competitiveness Comments received were pretty consistent and cited numerous examples of deteriorating competitiveness both locally and internationally. We’re heading into a critical meeting with Minister’s where these issues will be discussed. click here

AIA is committed to using constructive dialogue channels to bring these issues to the attention of government, the Chairman and Board of CAA and CAA personnel. We hope to engage with DCA and the Chairman next week and on Friday next the wider aviation community meets with DCA on the “go forward” at CAA.

We’re undertaking a major push to have critical skill shortages, particularly engineering and pilots addressed along with being able to develop globally competitive aviation training products under “the New Zealand” brand.
